    New Ethernet cable, same problem. I guess I'll see if I can get a cable technician over here to try a new modem.

    Thanks - I'll try switching out the cable. I didn't think it was a modem reboot problem because I kept an eye on the LED's and they didn't flicker or go off during periods where I lost connection.
