You need to open WAN tab and set WAN MTU value, perhaps to 1500. Running this firmware on AX86U for about 2 hours. Looks stable so far.

Thanks. Will try this. However I fight with problem for more than a year. And used almost every John's firmware during this time, hoping it will be fixed :) Actually I was almost sure that N66U doesn't support gigabit NAT till I installed latest Merlin's firmware.

Yes. VPN Server is off. Speed results are just the same as they were right after installing firmware and hard reset. So this problem is repeated out of the box. Without tuning any settings. I didn't run top command right after setup wizard, but seems it would show the same.
