    [HELP] Performance issue TS-110

    Had the same unit for a while and found speeds were pretty variable, with large file CIFS writes around 25-30MB/s being the most common. This was with all other QNAP services disabled, firmware 3.4, formatted with ext4 I think... I never saw anywhere near 44MB/s in the year I owned it though.

    Thanks for the response, I gave up after reading that other users were having the same issues. Fortunately the new 3.4 beta2 firmware gave the unit a considerable bump in speed (up to 34MB/s write), even with a frame size mismatch, allowing me to backup in a more resonable timeframe:)...

    Well Im guessing there isnt an answer to this. Buyer beware if you think youre going to be able to use jumbo frames with this unit and be very wary of some of the performance reports you may read. Also posted on the QNAP forum with no response.
