[XT8 Kernel Error] - Nand unaligned buffer

Today I notice the following error appears constantly in the logs of my XT8 router (tho I cant remember since when it happens) May 13 05:29:46 kernel: bcm63xx_nand ff801800.nand: unaligned buffer: d06994e7 The unaligned buffer code is slightly different each time this occurs. The front part...

Asus RT-AC86U and Debian Bullseye + Nextcloud

Yup, I think it's a very bad idea to load up another cache server imposing further workload on the poor little thing. I'll take your advice not doing it :)

Asus RT-AC86U and Debian Bullseye + Nextcloud

Your nextcloud tutorial is so great that I managed to install it flawlessly. However, Nextcloud warns me for no memory cache being configured. Do you use such cache to enhance performance too? For me it now always takes dozen seconds to load every page of nextcloud webui. I tried opkg...

Hi again, What is the correct way of mounting extra folder(s) that function(s) the same as "EXT_DIR=/tmp/mnt/sda1/Media/" in your S99debian script? I'm asking so becoz I can use rclone to mount a webdav folder to this EXT_DIR location, but not to EXT_DIR's subfolder (Media/Subfolder). Thing...

ChannelHog - Monitor And Force Maximum 5GHz Bandwidth

Thanks for the update. It seems that the addon can detect my XT8 channels correctly but it still restarts my 5GHz-1 radio. Checking channel bandwidth after I made sure the 5Ghz-2 was already on 160MHz channel:- ChannelHog: 80MHz 160MHz Channel Width Detected - Restarting 5GHz-1 Radio

[Rclone] Some problems with chroot debian

If I mount a webdav via Rclone to the Debian's EXT_DIR (see the S99debian script below), everything just works fine and I have no problem seeing the contents inside the chroot. However, if I mount it to its subfolder, says, "debian_sharedfolder/abcwebdav", I cant see the contents so mounted...

    GUI on AiMesh Node

Thanks for the reply. Yesterday I gave it a try. At first I couldn't access my node's webui unless re_mode was set to 0. At some point it suddenly allowed me to do so. Feeling weird, I found that my node just turned itself into a repeater. I'm not sure what triggered this but it seemed...

    GUI on AiMesh Node

May I ask what'd cause a "nvram commit"? And if that happens, what problem would it possibly cause while re_mode is set to 0? I'm wondering if it's something disastrous. I'm asking so coz I'm thinking of running adguard and skynet on the primary router, while running debian and plex on node...

My bad, idiot me. Works like a charm now. I'm really grateful you walked through the entire installation with me with such great patience. I'm touched tbh. I'm sure they'd help others who look into this topic as well. You are the man!

Managed to remove the old folder with debian stop . You are right. Armhf is the one for my router. After all the stress Debian Bullseye has been installed sucessfully. A minor error after entering debian tho. asus@ZenWiFi_XT8-6410:/tmp/home/root# debian enter bash: warning: setlocale...
