I assume that the XG version for Sophos is hardware restricted, not anymore on IPs as it was on SG. Now you can't have more than 4 CPUs and 6GB RAM on home version but no restriction except endpoint solution and cloud console.

Could you give us some feedbacks on why you didn't warm on opnsense ? I never test pfsense to be honest.

I asked myself on going to a real dedicated box to do router/pppoe/switch and all the security stuff. I'm going to OPNsense too and will use Sensei (need huge CPU) with Surricata and i'm waiting it from my postal service.. :)

Everybody don't have the chance to cap the hardware limit of the router as we don't all have fiber at home. I'm still on adsl with 16Mbps and prefer local security over bandwidth. We need profil like yours to give enhancements to the community. I want to thanks also rgnldo for his contributions...

Hi there, I have a quick question about guest WiFi (blocked internal access to LAN) and private DNS. How can i redirect the guest dns request to an internal LAN IP as i don't want guests to access the lan ? Could i redirect all guest in a specific external one if it is not working ? I tried...
