    Well, if you are just using the AXE11000 and no mesh nodes, perhaps you are correct. However, as many have posted here, the mesh wireless is very unstable and essentially useless with the 22238 latest firmware.

    This is correct, ASUS is apparently forcing this upgrade with the option off. Was hoping someone would be able to provide the method to block asus ftp transfers to our routers to prevent this or the command line way to disable auto update.

    Just a thought, has anyone tried an ethernet backhaul with this new firmware? If this issue is just the wireless backhaul maybe there is a wireless setting that can be changed to improve things? I'm going to try this myself this weekend and will report my findings.

    I mostly did this but didnt do the settings reset and complete reconfiguration manually but that will be my next step. Close to bailing on this and buying a dream machine.

    in my case, even the 21224 kills my mesh wifi. only 47875 is stable and rock solid
