[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.62_1 is now available

Has anyone else experienced this? I even tried adding a new restriction, after the upgrade, and everything was blocked still, even during periods what I had access specified as allowed. Thanks.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.62_1 is now available

I just tried 62_1 and parental controls stopped respecting access times. No matter how the devices were set, everything was blocked. Turn off parental controls, and everything works fine. Had to go back to 61_0. This is on an RT-N66U. I searched this thread and couldn't find a mention of this...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.59 is now available

RMerlin, I've noticed the 5Ghz Wifi stop working a couple of times now. Not sure why. I had 27 days of uptime with no issue, and this morning, 5ghz wouldn't work. Couldn't connect even. Rebooted router, and could connect again. But now, it's like it's dead, even though it shows as active. Would...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.59 is now available

So I have noticed an issue with my guest wifi not staying on. I turned it back on at 8pm ET, and just noticed that it's off again. I think I didn't understand a setting. Access Time shuts the network off after the specific time, it's not for the DHCP leas time. That's what I assumed it was...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.59 is now available

You don't mean check the box and reboot 3 times, just check the box once, reboot, and then reboot two more times (not having checked the box those two additional times) right? That's what I did. Thanks! So I do have a couple of questions, and I *think* one bug. First the bug - I've noticed...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.59 is now available

Well I went ahead and installed 59 on my N66U tonight. So far so good. Fast and simple. And glad to see ALL internal lan IPs are blocked from access by guest IPs including the router. I wish the guest had it's own range of IPs though. Time to spend some cycles with it. One quick question...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.59 is now available

Can anyone confirm this question though. When connected to a guest wifi network, is access to the router's internal IP blocked? For example if I get a guest wifi IP range of 10.10.0.40, and the internal LAN IP is in the 192.158.5.x range, meaning the router's IP is 192.168.5.1, will I be able...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.59 is now available

I'll probably want to just stick with Merlin's version. Closest to stock, with the stupid stuff solved, is what I'm looking for.

I must have missed something. John's fork? :)

Which router are you using it on?

    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.59 is now available

I read that in the .60 beta thread, so didn't even consider it. Hoping Asus gives what RMerlin needs so it can get into a final release.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.59 is now available

I have just gone through all 35 pages of posts, trying to take my first plunge into Merlin's firmware on my N66U. I've been running Shibby Tomato the last couple of years and the stability has dropped off a bit. I'm ready to get back to Asus stock, or at least something very close like Merlin...

    Access Restriction functionality in Merlin?

I run an RT-N66U and love it. I had a hard time with the original Asus firmware when I got it, so I've always run a flavor of the original Tomato, and now Shibby Tomato. While happy with it for the most part, I haven't upgraded in the last year or so, as each time I have, I seem to encounter...

Use keyword fliters, but only for certain MACs?

I tried Merlin's build today and it's great. Some of the stupid things in Asus oiwn firmware are improved. I was using Shibby Tomato for over a year, and while solid and good, there was so much in it, I was always worried something was broke under the covers. The one thing that I do miss...

Asus Guest Networks still see and can talk to everything?(RT-N10P, RT-N66U, RT-AC68U)

You shouldn't be able to access LAN IPs when on the guest network if Intranet access is off, but I have found that you can at least still access the gateway IP (your router internal IP). I wish that could be prevented. Or can it and I just don't know how?
