LOOSE RJ45 jacks: TWO BRAND NEW RT N66U's

Thanks man. I read through the thread to find that post/email address once I realized Asus had posted in this thread, and just sent in my request. I'm in NC. Hopefully gets resolved in quick fashion.

LOOSE RJ45 jacks: TWO BRAND NEW RT N66U's

Just found this thread and realized I have the same issue. More than frustrated at this point. Love the router, wireless is great, but my wired devices are experiencing the same things. Seems the weight of the ethernet cable hanging over the back of my desk over time pulls it just enough to...

    NFS USB mount on Linux?

I originally had nfs, and it didn't work, but put in nfsd just as a trial since that is how it was referenced in the RTs gui...have never seen such before. Guess when I have time will remove all, and put in one by one to figure out exactly which it was. The only new configuration though...

    NFS USB mount on Linux?

Resolved OK...sigh...figured it out. :D 1. used IP instead of hostname in fstab entry 2. used "nfs" instead of "nfsd" in fstab entry 3. used the full subnet "10.10.32.0/24" in routers Export Access list instead of using the "*" wildcard Probably didn't have an effect, but I also...

    NFS USB mount on Linux?

Merlin - I have loaded up a fresh instll of Ubuntu 13.04, done all updates, installed nfs, reformatted the USB drive via gparted to ext3, and renamed everything, and configured the router and fstab....and am getting the same issues. fstab entry: RT-N66U:/mnt/AsusNAS/media /media/AsusNAS...

    NFS USB mount on Linux?

Right, have corrected, all are same case, and still am getting the folder with what look like NFS config files, which requires root to unmount. Almost the exact same fstab entries work with a ReadyNAS, so not sure where to go from here. Is the "/mnt" needed? Have tried both ways and...

    NFS USB mount on Linux?

Tried w/o the double and still get the same outcome. rt-n66u:/mnt/SGate2TB/Media /media/RT_NAS nfsd guest,rsize=8192,wsize=8192,timeo=14,intr Some of the files that are showing in the now mounted /media/RT_NAS are: export_features exports filehandle I again don't permissions to this...

    NFS USB mount on Linux?

Morning...am having issues getting my USB drive mounted over NFS on my Ubuntu [Lint Mint 15], and need a little help. RT-N66u running Merlin build: 3.0.0.4.374.33_beta3b I have a Seagate 2Tb Go Flex formatted in ext3 connected up, and in NFS Exports, NFSD and Legacy Support are ON...

    RT-N66u USB XFS support?

OK...guess I will just have to reformat and re-copy...should have known better when I did it last time xfs might not be best filesystem. For now have gone with your build, .32 for now.

    RT-N66u USB XFS support?

Do you know if any Tomato builds support XFS?

    RT-N66u USB XFS support?

Finally upgraded my RT-N12s to an N66u... I have a 2Tb storage device, which is currently formatted in XFS, but with the stock firmware, it is apparently not recognized. Does the N66u not support XFS? I have always had Tomato on my routers, so will be upgrading probably to Toastmans...
