    Only problem is if you use 2.5g wan port you cannot advertise those speeds to your clients if your internet plan exceeds 1 gigabit. where as routers like the gt ax6000 and rt ax88u pro can because it has both 2.5g lan and wan ports

    i just cannot fault this firmware release, working perfect in my environment, everything is responsive and fast, no drop outs and CPU running cool at 58 degrees Celsius. btw loving my gt ax 6000, well worth upgrading over ax86u (at an on sale price)

    I just got an insane deal on the gt-ax6000 brand new $340 aud ($220 usd). Returned my Ax86u pro I recently got off Amazon as it was more expensive. Big win for me

    5Ghz is scanning for dfs channel on boot, change it on your wireless settings to a channel that isn’t dfs

    How well does your AX86U Pro work for you

    Meh, took the 3 external antennas off my new ax86u pro and put it on the old ax86u to test and it works the same as the pro lol Ive sent the pro back but swapped the antennas. Will use the non pro till it dies Hopefully by then Wi-Fi 7 is fully supported

    On average from the Same client at the Same distance, I was averaging 700-750mbps download on the non pro ax86u

    good news, received the 86u pro and it’s running great on the newest 388.4 beta 2 Getting 800-850 on my 2x2 5Ghz wifi 6 client Extremely stable for gaming also via Ethernet Happy camper here

    Also to note pro version has ddr4 ram over the original ddr3 I’m running 1000/50 fibre (yes I know low upload, Aussie isps sucks)
