    Hi I want to edit my /etc/motd in my router just for fun when I'm using Telnet away from home. The problem is the /etc is a read-only filesystem. How can I make changes in that filesystem?

    I think you are downgrading it. There is an update from 16.5.1 to 16.5.3 for Windows 8.1 on the download center. Might solve your problems...

    I set to 80Mhz of channel width of the 5GHz band. The AC 7260 was set to 802.11a to look for only 802.11ac SSIDs. Done this by flashing back to stock Asus firmware. Now I have problems with the US3 port with my 2TB Seagate USB3 hdd. http://forums.smallnetbuilder.com/showthread.php?t=13306

    Right now I have my WD 1TB 2.5" hdd usb3.0 on the 3.0port with NTFS filesystem. Should I still format my 2TB 3.5" to NTFS or stay on ext3? For sure I will wait for a firmware update.

    My Seagate 2TB is formatted to ext3 and it doesn't recognize my AC56U's USB3 port. Somehow I plugged it in on the USB2 port and it does recognize. I tried plugging a USB2 16GB stick on the USB3 port and it also mounted. Seeing the log nothing happens when I plug the external HDD to 3port...
