Need advice on new Aimesh routers and network

tech9 I'm looking for solid wifi throughout my house would you suggest going with a pair of ac86U? The appeal to me of aimesh is that you can always add zenwifi to the system if you are still having problems with poor connections.

Need advice on new Aimesh routers and network

Thanks Adooni. I read somewhere that going to wifi 6 wasn't necessarily the best thing for wifi coverage? Also the reason for the switch is I need the extra ethernet ports. I'll take a look at threads you suggested. Also I was planning on having wired connection.

    Noob needs more range

Thanks for the feedback on d-link. Reliability is very important to me. I don't foresee needing a ton of throughput, but would like coverage and range. I'm willing to pay more but always like getting best bang for the buck. I don't imagine I will ever need or want to use advanced features...

    Noob needs more range

I would like to have more range than my current setup. I have an n300 router where my cable modem is and wired a TP-Link Archer c7 on another level. On my patio I have mediocre to no signal from both. My thought replace the N300 with Archer C7 and buy a new router for the other level. Most of...
