    You are correct. It does and I've tested that. It detects as a 10Gbe connection and will pass the full 2GB speeds.

    I'm fortunate enough to have Google Fiber available and would love it if this router would support 2.5Gbe connections via the SPF+. I plan to email ASUS to request this feature and I'm putting this here to encourage others to do the same.

    Turns out the previous firmware didn't support it fully. Once I flashed the latest release again it's working

    scratch that. I'm boxing it back up to resell. SPF is intermittent after downgrading. I'm going back to the Google Fiber Technicolor router and extender they provided. Zero customizations but it works.... Good luck shaangor

    I have the same issue. The device in question is a 1st generation surface book. I'm rolling back to the previous firmware to see if it makes a difference.
