    Padavan's Custom Firmware

Thank you for sharing this. I thought he may have abandoned the development but so glad he hasn't. I'll have to try his latest/greatest tonight in hope to revive my RT-N56U from not working when downloading torrents. :D

    Padavan's Custom Firmware

I primarily use WiFi and have been running on the latest Asus firmware since it was released. It's been very solid for me, no issues at all.

    Padavan's Custom Firmware

Are the pings on wireless or wired? How's the wireless performance from previous version? Everything is solid for me at the moment with the previous version but am eager to upgrade due to the updated kernel and improved wired driver performance.

    Padavan's Custom Firmware

I had multiple issues with the official firmware including buffering issues with streaming movies from my desktop to the PS3. With this firmware and using Serviio Media Server, I've had no issues with streaming movies. Definitely give this firmware a shot.

    AUG 2013 - ASUS RT-N56U Firmware Version 3.0.0.4.374.130

    AUG 2013 - ASUS RT-N56U Firmware Version 3.0.0.4.374.130

Thanks, Gerald. When I upgraded from a previous build, I got nothing but disconnects and multiple 'qring' errors. I ended up doing a 'Firmware Restoration' using the Restore utility and so far everything seems to be stable without changing too many settings. Now it's just a matter of time and...

    ASUS RT-N56U beta firmware

It hasn't. It was working fine last night when I upgraded but now it's terrible. I'm going back to the old 1.0.8.x.j version - provided the fastest downloads and the most stable.
