    Wireless devices not working over vpn?

    As the title states I have a few wireless ip cams I configured last night and they work well on LAN but no go while connected over openvpn? Any ideas? Btw, I have hardwired ip cams and samba shares I am able to access just fine on openvpn just the wireless devices are giving me trouble...

    Got it...I will plan on using WinSCP then! Because I guess I am an idiot...lol I dunno...just had a weak moment I guess! Yes I understand that /jffs/configs and /jffs/scripts are folders created by the Asus firmware. So I am not creating any more folders just "files" under these two folders...

    I understand what your saying but I have turned off all P2P services as well as UPnP, bonjour and any thing else you can think of on the cam. I do not forward any ports and use vpn to connect into my network from outbound to be as safe as possible. Sucks that you do everything you can to block...

    Yep been there done that...all well and good until you try to connect back via vpn...no go. What I did do however is leave default gateway as legit of what it really is and I changed DNS to non existent addresses like 1.0.0.1 and it looks like on the logs it not in the "established" category...

    Yep, aware of the vulnerability. When you buy cams from non authorized places (ebay), which a lot of folks do, you don't get firmware upgrade abilities.

    Dahua IPC-HDW4431C-A Trust me...I logged into the camera and turned everything off that I could find. It's known out there that some of these cams could have "hidden" access that you can't see. Probably some cloud connection or something....
