    Stats in AP mode?

Hi guys, I have an RT-AC66U running in AP mode (John's fork). I'm wondering if it is possible to get to or enable two system stats... In AP mode the graphs for network traffic are gone and my CPU load stats always show 0 across the board. Trying to troubleshoot some lag while gaming on PS4 and...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

@john9527 I tagged you in another thread about an unrelated issue but have a question: Is there supposed to be an option to allow enabling/disabling of "Traffic Analyzer"? This is being suggested to me as a way to improve VPN throughput on my AC66U. Thanks

Can't get OpenVPN connection optimized to TorGuard service

I was looking last night again and not seeing this option, maybe I'm going crazy! I am on John's fork (ac66U) maybe the feature isn't there in his fork? @john9527

Can't get OpenVPN connection optimized to TorGuard service

I saw reference to turning this setting off, but I couldn't find it on my router. -Granted it was late and maybe I was glancing right over it, I will look for it again. Thanks so much for the other thoughts others have posted. Maybe the servers I am using are stricter and only allow certain...

Can't get OpenVPN connection optimized to TorGuard service

I will first say that I have searched a ton here and generally on the web. I'm trying out Torguard VPN service and when I set it up on my router it destroys the throughput. From my reading here...folks are saying that the RT-AC66U should be able to do 15-20Mbps through VPN. The best I have seen...

    Never turn off router?

Actually...YES. My wife and I work long days, mine mostly due to an hour commute each way. During the week the house is empty 11-12hrs a day, over time the "drip" rate of standby power can really add up. It may be a petty thing, but if there is something I can easily do to save a few bucks why...

    Never turn off router?

I just came out of a phase where I was shutting down my network essentially at night but now I'm leaving it all on again. My wife and I both have to use wifi calling from our cell phones at home if we want reliable communication so I rethought shutting down at night in case there was an...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

I've bumped up the mW from 80 to 100 to 150 on my ac66u testing specifically the 5ghz band with my phone and not really seen a difference. Using wifi analyzer (I don't know how accurate it is) the readings really didn't change at all. I did router reboot after the last bump as I thought I read...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

You can't really since an iPad is not a device that is user modifiable. Short of the device not working correctly, it is what it is. If you have a bulky case or something on it you could try taking it off.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Thanks, I'll bump it up and see what happens. I also saw those antennas linked elsewhere and am thinking about trying them. I just wasn't sure how much increase I could actually play with before the router started ignoring what I type in via the GUI. And, great point on the router only being...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Noobie to the forums jumping in here. Thanks for this fork/build. I just got a sprint model AC66U and went through the process to get to stock, then Merlin (also thanks) then to this fork when I read about the power output control. Couple questions: I flashed this, then did a factory reset from...
