The latest BETA builds seem to be working fine on my 87U. With reference to QOS what are you guys recommending with the 87U with this BETA? It looks like there could be some improvements in this build, should be a good test. I have 3 kids in the house on tablets/PCs on a 37/10 MB connection...

I have a nighthawk 7000 and a 87U. Other than the 5Ghz power saving issue its spot on. No disconnects or reboots, it just works.

I don't think the issue is fixed then.

Does it show the [P] flag for power save in the wireless log?

If your not happy there are plenty of other options to use. Personally I don't have an issue and I am just glad we have options.

Ditto for me too, my AC87 is solid too on the latest firmware. Build quality is no different to a Nighthawk.

I have the AC87 running the latest Merlin firmware and have had zero issues. The only time it goes down is when I decide to reboot it. Solid router just like my Nighthawk which also runs unofficial Merlin.
