    I use it for presence detection for the most part. I know no other proper way to track if anyone is home and if so, who is home. This allows for the automation of HVAC and power distribution. You can also arm/disarm alarms or emable/disable devices etc.

    I have it set up as https since day one, which is for quite a few years now. I have had trouble when changing from "both" to "https only" in the past though. When I do that I get locked out of the webinterface, app and what not. So I'm a bit iffy on doing that again 😅 Because atm it's working...

    If you don't run Home Assistant, than the integration isn't causing your issues (because the integration runs inside Home Assistant, not on the router.)
