Well that really sucks for me, because i was compiling oscam package (ipk) for the WL500gP Router on itself and with the normale optware from merlin-asuswrt, it is possible to compile it (as it has buildroot). But merlin said, that you cannot have entware and optware at the same time or? Or...

Why not optware/entware and one of these sw-packages: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captive_portal#Software_captive_portals Maybe there is something in the repo, otherwhise you have to ask the guy behind entware for it..

Is it possible to add a buildroot/gcc package to entware (also automake, autoconf, etc)? Because with optware you have that and i compile small things on the router itself (is faster than crosscompiling and trasnferring everytime)!

Are the packages not compatible or why can i not use both repo (though I dont care about the downloadmaster). I would just add the other repo to the config file.. As i use asuswrt-merlin, I have your startup scripts and I like the custom Firmwares based on Asus Firmware... I have also 2...

I knew the entware project, but wasnt sure if the router/firmware support it! As there is php 5.4.5 in the repo, it should work ;) Thanx for the tip!!

Hi! I have a question about the opkg/ipkg repository: How do you CROSS-compile packages for the router/repository? Because i need a higher version of pho for OwnCloud and compiling on the router is just a pain in the butt (with all the dependencies which php needs). So is there anywhere...

Is there anywhere a FAQ/Howto about which script/files are executed on start/mount/whatever?

Today i want to try your firmware, but can I install it from tomato like a tomato firmware or flash back to an Asus Firmware and then install yours? And is a NVRAM erase needed?

The bug which we are talking about is, that in shell scripts with the Shebang the $1 param has the value of $0 but the first char is missing. And $0 is always the calling-name. In this case it would be "bug" (because thats the script name) and without the first character it is "ug".

I will give RMerlin´s custom build a try, but currently I have no time to play with the router... :/

The problem is, that you have to change ANY scripts.. Otherwhise you will get some defunctions and thats why it is pretty much unusable.. (if you want to run scripts on the router)

I think i will try your next firmware then ;) Is "ipkg" working? My (and some other guys) problem is: Tomato USB has random errors in shell with cmd-line parameters and for that it is unusable for me..

Is there an active shell/ssh in the firmware?! Like in *-WRT or Tomato-firmwares?!

O no.. I dont hope that my unit is also damaged... Can someone else try running that script?! Edit: yep, i also have a micro-sd (16GB) in the router.. :/
