Tried it twice - wps way did not work ill try the other way

I did a hard reset lights never came on also all my settings were still there but merlin had vanished I then press the reset button on the router and that boughtback my led So guess all good

Meaning i did not have to set anything up at all i was expecting to set up as new

So when i did this My router came back as normal i think merlin went But all my settings still there? I also did a hard reset and my led lights never came back on but the router is still working

When you say it works properly how would one check this?
