380.65 Asking for Country Code ?

Hi - I've just updated my 87U to 380.65 and I've been going through the menus to see what's changed... When I click on Advanced settings > Wireless > Wireless - General, I get prompted for a Country Code - I've never had that before in previous firmwares, and I can't see any Country Code field...

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.63 Beta is now available

Hi Merlin, (btw, I'm running Insider builds of Windows 10). I restored my system from an (different version) image backup, then flashed 380.3 Beta2 into my RT-AC87U The Add/Delete/Edit buttons are now Ok, and don't produce a pop-up in IE, FFox, or Chrome But in MS's EDGE browser (which I was...

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.63 Beta is now available

I haven't seen anyone else mention this, so here goes ... In the Lan > DHCP Server's MAC / IP / Hostname table, if I click on the "-" (Minus) button to the right of each entry, I get a pop-up with "sales query"

how can I delete usb folders ?

Hi - I have a RT-AC87U, running Merlin 387.55, and I'm running Windows 10 with Chrome browser ... I created some folders on a 16gig usb stick - through the Network Place (Samba) Share tab, but I now find that I can't delete these folders using this same tab - it just says "Failed to delete...

    Bootp dhcp broadcast flag

I would suggest also posting in the Virgin>Broadband>Set up forum (if you haven't already), and see what Virgin's forum staff suggest - they can also remotely run checks on your line & signal levels etc.

    Bootp dhcp broadcast flag

If you really do have the same problem as I had ... i.e. you're on VirginMedia, and things not working properly using your SuperHub2 in modem-mode, with your own router ... The problem (in my case), was caused by Virgin's recent "dodgy" SH2 firmware update The fix is simply to ask Virgin (via...

OpenVPN - I can't get it to work...

Very odd - I've just walked through the steps I suggested and it works for me (at home, wifi off, and connecting via 3g) Having said that, I forgot to mention that I have ddns setup on my router, and the ddns name got automatically hard-coded in the config file Might be useful to check the...

OpenVPN - I can't get it to work...

Here's how I set mine up (I have an AC87U and an android too) Click on Open VPN Server 1 & turn it on Add a user/password & Apply Change from General to Advanced I changed the VPN Subnet from 10.8.x.x to 192.168.10.x (seemed a good idea, as I use 192.168.x.x on my network) I also enabled...
