Tim - do any of these offer an autoping "watchdog" type feature?
I have an Amazon Fire TV that seems to need to be rebooted frequently - it would be nice if one of these could watch the Fire and reboot it if it drops off line.
Thanks for the great write up! It will be interesting to see this...
If you are doing a lot of those Leviton "female" keystone ends terminated to wall plates recommend a 110 punch down tool that cuts. It makes a clean connection and cuts the wire at the same time. It is spring loaded and takes some force to compress, but not bad. It is helpful to have...
Can someone explain to me how/when this used? I keep seeing the term management port thrown around is that a port being referred to in a VLAN?
Thanks in advance. Sorry for the spelling error in the title - can't seem to edit it.
How many of these switches support a Management VLAN ID? So if I have a Local Network, Guest Network, and Management Network and have a trunk port created - can I set the master or default VLAN of any of these switches? It seems that this is a feature found in more expensive units. I wonder...

I very much enjoyed the Nest and Foscam C1 reviews. I see the C2 and wonder if it a step up in quality? Is there a C2 review on the horizon, or do you have some thoughts as to how it would compare?
Thanks!

Thank you very much for your response. I am somewhat surprised that Netgear would pick the same channel as your access point to promote co-channel interference on purpose. I was always believed that was a bad thing. I get that it is better than adjacent channel interference, but if I only...
Thanks very much for the solid review.
How does Arlo work within your existing Wi-Fi setup? Does it sit on the same channel as your current router? Can you pick the channel it broadcasts on? I have been reading some people having issues with there Wi-Fi after they installed these. Somebody...
