Doesn't look like 6 GHz offers anything but WPA3. Mine has been set to the default WPA3 personal since I got it. I have not had a single issue with 6E disconnects since I got mine 2 months ago. I did a dirty flash to merlin's alpha and dirty upgraded since then to the current release and no...

I have now done 2 Newegg RMAs in the last couple months without so much as a hitch or a fee. No return shipping fee or anything.

Ah yeah. I switched to the other 5GHz band and it is linking at 2400 Mbit/s. Must be something going on with the channels on the upper 5ghz bands here.

I am seeing it max out at 1200Mbit/s link speed on 5GHz. only 2400 on 6 GHz so far.

It would also seem to imply the answer to a question I've had for a while, if the 2.5G WAN port can be reused if a 10GbE port is used for WAN. Awesome.

The photo is with all the plastic still on, but the top shiny piece is still a mirror finish with optional LEDs. I always had problems with my GT-AC5300 until one of the wireless radios finally completely failed, so I can sympathize.

My RT-AC5300 next to the GT-AXE16000. The RT-AC5300 and GT-AC5300 share identical bodies with different coloring.

My S22 Ultra maxes out around 950-980Mbit/s on 6E in close range despite having >Gbit internet.

There's a recovery tool on the downloads page you can try, they say it's more like a factory reset than any of the other methods.

Samsung S22 Ultra, which definitely has wifi 6E. Also a 2022 Zephyrus G14. When I swapped the wifi cars to an AX210 the 6E network was shown in the network list without issue but on the factory mediatek adapter it didn't show.

I have noticed on both my phone and laptop the 6E network is not always appearing in the list of networks available. On both I have been able to enter the SSID manually and connect, and from there it has been working without issue. Maybe worth a try, assuming you haven't tried to force the...

That's unfortunate. I have Xfinity rated at 1200/35 so I can't test the router for any higher upload speeds. Maybe someone else here has symmetrical fiber besides you two? I keep checking every day for a new firmware.

Are either of you seeing proper speeds from a wired PC? Is it just the router speedtest itself having poor speeds or every device on your network? Although both my wired PC with a multigig connection and my router are seeing proper speeds as pictured.

Yeah, when the WAN aggregation is working I am getting 1400Mbit/s+ on my 1200mbit tier. I just don't know why the wan aggregation fell over. Maybe just immature firmware bugs on the AXE16000.
