    I'm getting a new Asus GT-AX-11000

    I have an AX11000 wich first was running stock firmware. By far the most stable router i ever had. Since shortly i moved over to Merlin firmware on the AX11000. Again running stable as rock but prefire Merlin Just for the VPN routing rules wich is not possible with the VPN fusion (on stock firmware)

    Upgraded my GT-AX11000 last night and so far so good. Everything stable. And thank god i can use VPN server and client at the same time again. This is not possible with the ROG firmware of this router. Keep up the good work and thx.

    Indeed. Version 8011 solved my VPN fusion also. 9165 is not working.

    Update 2: After extended testing i cant get this to work. As soon as i activate one client to go through the tunnel it blocks all my clients. Wireless or wired same thing. All cutted off from the internet. I downgraded one version to the 8011 firmware and BAM! Everything works again as it should...

    Update: After testing there is for sure problems with VPN fusion. I have 2 VPN services, my router can connect to both of them but the external ip adress is not changing at all.     Yes i did. However keep in mind that this router uses the second 5GHz band as a wifi backup in case the wired backhaul fails.

    No most banking is done on smartphone connected to 4G. Actually i have unlimited mobile data so even at home my wifi of my smartphone is almost never on lol.

    I might yes but i wont lol. As long as there is no stable future firmware i wont update. Its all running the way i want so i dont wanna f*ck it up by throwing garbage firmware on it. It is up to Asus to give me stable firmware.
