I get full signal.. It's In the middle of the house. Very good spot. Even I front of the router I get same speeds it's not a signal issue. Would u recommend other router?

I still don't understand why 3 different high end phones get so different speeds I don't like the tp-link interface Could u recommend other router with top coverage?

Yeah but what about the xiaomi phone ? And the tp-link router? I get better speeds in the xiaomi phone from simple 2.4 routers.. My Hp laptop don't get good speeds as well. 5ghz signal is just not good enough for all places at home. I want good 2.4 speeds in all of My devices.

Hello everyone :) I currently have Asus RT-AC3200 with latest Merlin FW. I have about 8-10 2.4 clients at home. so the tri band is not really needed. BUT . i get awkward 2.4ghz wifi speeds whithin 5 meter behind the router... for exanple : Samsung Galaxy S7 : 60-80 Mb/Sec Apple iPhone 7 : 15-20...

The web pages issue is by wired conmunication as well. On every computer i have. Whats the difference between previous firmware versions drivers ? Because everything worked well before.

RT-AC3200 plus, like i said in the other post.. i get weird web pages load issues. sometimes they just take forever to open. and if i cancel the request, and refresh the page.. it opens immediately .

@RMerlin Would there any reason why my 2.4GHz acting like crazy after updating ? tried to factory reset. weird and slow 2.4GHz behavior. ( after a while running ) And like i said, reboot fixes it , until next time it happens.

I updated the latest Alpha3 for RT-AC3200 with PPPoE connection. 1) 2.4GHz on my galaxy S7 gets so SLOW sometimes. ( signal is good ) even for LAN communication . only router reboot fixes it until the next time. 2) I get weird problem with web pages. sometimes they just take forever to open...

Well... i don't really know what they changed in the wireless , ( except the sc algorithm ) but now, the HP printer does connect and works fine... keep updating...

ASUS RT-AC3200 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.378.6091 is out... let's hope something really changed in "Adjusted smart connect algorithm for better performance"

Most of the wifi stability issues were solved by setting security to WPA, and NOT WPA2 ( my key rotation is on default ) try that see if it works for u as well

maybe you right.. but i don't think the actual product is the problem. a lot of people complaining about the unstable 2.4 on the rt-ac3200. i live in Israel, and sending the product for RMA is so much trouble for me.. i will have to wait a few more firmware updates :/

if you check the older replys on this thread.. you can see the PING is not stable , which mean i can't use the printer properly. i can't even access the printer by the web interface. like i said in the reply's before, i tried to work with OPEN SSID ( no security at all ) as well with the...
