AC class router and access points advice

I can get the ZyXEL NWA1123-AC AP from Amazon. It seems to have roughly the same specs as the UniFi. What do you think? And since they don't ship the Ubiquiti EdgeRouters to me either, can you recommend any other wired routers that offer similar functionality?

AC class router and access points advice

But wouldn't an AC1900 router do just as good a job at spreading the wifi signal as an AP? I mean given that I could put the router in the same location as I'd put the AP? Unfortunately I can't find any sellers on Amazon that ship the Unifi to my country right now. I'll have to try a few other...

AC class router and access points advice

Thank you for the responses. You're right. It did track through the Ethernet cables. Basically every device in the house that had an Ethernet cable plugged into it was fried (including TV's, PC's). I've had to replace two cables but I've tested all the rest and they're working ok. That's one...

    Multiple SSIDs across multiple routers

Thanks for the responses. From what I'd read I figured it might require VLANs and a lot of extra work. I want to use the guest SSID simply to avoid having to give out the password to my main network every time I have people over. That's how my network is currently set up. The file server on...

    Multiple SSIDs across multiple routers

I’d like to setup a router with three SSIDs: one for the main network on 2.4Ghz, one for the main network on 5Ghz, and one for the guest network (i.e. no access to local network – internet only) with the same SSID for both 2.4/5Ghz. Like this: SSID_2G SSID_5G SSID_Guest Most of the AC class...
