Eveything was working fine for me for about two weeks. I did have the problem of having to re enable the exceptions, but that was bearable. Every since I set up raspberry pi as plea though, the vpn fusion has not been working as default.

Is there a way to tell the firmware to ignore updates? Running 467 and it keeps telling me to upgrade to a newer version.

Whether it is worth it is case to case. If you do not have a lot of devices then the tri-band is not necessary and the 68u or the 88u would be fine. I personally would not trade it for another router though. It is nice to know that the processor and hardware will be good for awhile. As far as...

So after a couple of days running, the most recent beta seems very buggy with VPN Fusion. The service got better on NordVPN OpenVPN running of the UDP servers, but some websites like amazon still don't always work and the connection will randomly drop or slow down. Rolled back to 19484 and...

Update, after a couple hours of testing, the latest beta seems a little unstable. Especially, with tcp VPN servers. When set to default tcp servers would yield erratic speed results and connection would randomly drop. This was especially noticeable when connecting to amazon, paypal, and wells...

I was noticing this too last night. I believe it is the firmware and setting the VPN to default as I did not expedience slow speeds when I manually set exceptions to run everything through the VPN. I will test some more in a little bit. P.s. I am also running NordVPN.

Gotcha, yeah I misspoke though, I posted the link for the review I was talking about, it was Trusted Reviews. I still made sure to come here to for reviews. I never listen to just one source. As far as the protection, it was the game IPS I was referring to, I did not believe the othere asus...

Alright, I set both xbox ones to instant one and had them plugged into lan ports 1 and 2. I turned them on and off multiple times at different times and the network stayed stable. I then let both of them idle until they shut off automatically at about half hour intervals. I did this twice simply...

I'm running 9.0.0.4.382_19484 and I am not having a problem with setting NordVPN as default connection. I did have to manually set the dns to NordVPN's settings but that is it.

From my understanding the Gt ac53000 has an enterprise level 2 way firewall that trend micro created built into the router. It is suppressed too be more powerful the just the aiprotection. You can get similar protection from a standalone device for about 300 hundred, but you would still need a...
