    The Dnscrypt Blues?

I had Dnscrypt-proxy v2.0.19 running fine on Merlin 384.9 (migrated unchanged from Merlin 384.8). And is now running great using Dnscrypt-proxy v2.0.21. Rock solid for me on my RT-AC3200 with SkyNet and FreshJR QOS Mod.

    DNSMasq not caching?

Are you using dnmasq caching, dnscrypt-proxy caching, or both (should avoid doing this)? If dnsmasq, what's in your dnsmasq config (located in /tmp/etc/dnsmasq.conf) for cache-size and min-cache-ttl? If there is no minimum TTL configured on your router, then the TTL as returned by the...

    DNScrypt dnscrypt installer for asuswrt

server=127.0.0.1#65053 is ok - if dnscrypt-proxy.toml config file contains, listen_addresses = ['127.0.0.1:65053'] My router has firewall rules to ensure all dns requests from all clients on the LAN have UDP/TCP 53 requests always redirected to 127.0.0.1:53 (i.e. dnsmasq). Dnsmasq then uses...

    DNScrypt dnscrypt installer for asuswrt

I've been using dnscrypt-proxy v2 and it has been rock solid on my AC3200 for months and is very much an active development. https://github.com/jedisct1/dnscrypt-proxy Please do not confuse with v1 which was abandoned. Latest dnscrypt-proxy version is 2.0.19 which came out just last month...
