QOS Not working - Merlin 380.67

Just to add my 2c ; I have found that bandwidth (with QoS on) depends on how you are connected to the router. https://www.snbforums.com/threads/release-asuswrt-merlin-380-67-is-now-available.40191/page-14#post-338617

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.67 is now available

Running 380.67 on an AC5300. If I have QoS enabled and run Speedtest on my Linux desktop while connected wirelessly, I get downloads exceeding 50 Mbps. (I am on a 60/10 plan from my ISP.) If I then disconnect from Wi-Fi and connect directly to the router on ethernet (connection info says 1000...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66 is now available

I have now done this. You are correct about re-authorization occuring every hour. I have also locked down compression to LZO only and legacy fallback cipher to AES-256-CBC as listed in my provider's config file. I appreciate the info. Thanks

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66 is now available

I could do that but my settings are the same as they were with 380.66 There were some strange events in the log file I attached. That did not help ?

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66 is now available

I'm currently running 380.66_4 on my RT-AC5300 and having intermittent VPN drops. I have posted about this before and tried several suggestions that did not help. I recall that 380.64_2 was the last release that had a stable VPN. Here's a snippet of my log file for what it's worth.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66 is now available

While my OpenVPN tunnel appears to be up, it's status is not updated correctly. The status page continues to show as "Error connecting - Authentication failed" Using RT-AC5300 / 380.66_2

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66 is now available

I can confirm this. It happens with my RT-AC5300 as well. (never did it on previous versions) I applied your suggestion, Eric. We'll see if it helps.

[alpha] Early preview builds for Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66

Just a minor GUI issue to report. I have long SSID's for my Wi-Fi. As a result the SSID list at the top of the page takes up 2 lines. As a result the second line listing my second 5G network gets overwritten by the tabs of the main page. See below.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 Beta is now available

I noticed a lot of "chatter" on the LAN. My network is not very complex, so I disabled Spanning-Tree Protocol (under LAN --- Switch Control) without any adverse effects. This chilled out my network considerably. FYI WBV

    [Test build] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 alpha 2 - with OpenVPN 2.4.0

Updated to Alpha-2 on my RT-AC3200. It immediately started complaining about low NVRAM (62551/65536). I had to go back to factory defaults and re-input all settings. Not fun. Took me all morning. NVRAM now shows 58816/65536.
