386.4 runs fine on my ac5300. However, I did go back to factory and reconfigured it from scratch.

my 68u did weird things too. I have scrapped all config on my main ac5300 and configured from scratch. Then I could not get my 68u to connect as an aimesh node. I updated the 68u to the _3 Merlin version and still it did not play ball. My ax55 connected no problem, but that one runs stock...

I've updated my aimesh RT-ac68u and then changed the 5 G wireless channel to 104. Now the 5 Ghz works again on the aimesh node. But if I look at the aimesh node it states there are devices connected wired that are connected to my ac5300. So it does not keep track on what is actually connected...

I've removed the node from aimesh, reset to factory default, configured it, updated it to 386.2 and then reset to factory default. Readded it to aimesh, still 5 Ghz seem to not work at all. Reverted back to 386.1_2 and 5 Ghz back online. I'll leave it for now as family members seem to not do...

I've reaplied 386.2 to my RT-AC68U Aimesh router. Again 5 Ghz does not work. I'll revert back to 386.1_2 for now.

I've updated my rt-ac5300 and my rt-ac68u aimesh device. when working from the office I noticed 5 Ghz not working on rt-ac68. I've reverted the aimesh node to 386_1 and 5 Ghz worked again. I will have a go at updating again over the weekend to see if it would work after another update

another question. I use an AX55 as an aimesh node. If I click on the update node it shows a new blank page. The AX55 is not supported yet by Merlin, so I have removed the AX55 from the aimesh, and then reset it to default, updated it to the latest stock version, and then readded it to my AC5300...

I had this when I went to 315. Reset to factory default and manually reconfigure mine did the trick.

then you loose the smart connect feature as that does not allow you to choose channels. Like I said, I reverted back to 14_2 and all is well again. Could be there's no difference between the two versions but still 15 don't play nice here.

I know it is out of Merlins control, but ever since I upgraded my AC5300 all wireless devices keep loosing connection on a regular base. Syslog is flooded with disasoc and assoc messages. I've reverted back to 14_2 for now and all seems back to normal. I did tinker with the wireless settings...
