Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.6 is now available

Thank you for this insight. I assume the SAN fields are *.yourdomain.com and yourdomain.com. I just tried with a 2048 key with no luck. SHA256-RSA (key is still unencrypted, and headers do not mention RSA format, OpenSSL reporting PKCS8). Can you tell me what your cert CN is? Mine has the...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.6 is now available

That is unfortunate :( I think I'll see if I can reissue a cert with GlobalSign at 2048 vs 4096 and see if that straights things out. Otherwise like you mention the SANs are only *.mydomain.com and mydomain.com ... I will report back.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.6 is now available

Solid advice, went back to 3004.388.6, uploaded cert only (no chain) and PKCS8 unencrypted private key, issue persists. Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.6 is now available

Apologies as this seems to have been touched upon in prior posts (around #200). I'm having an issue noted in another thread where certificate uploads outside of Let's Encrypt* and the self signed certificate are not binding to the designated HTTPS port (in my example, a public certificate from...

I am going to revamp my previous post a bit soon as I've gone back to 3004.388.5 ... Done, certificate working as expected back on 3004.388.5.

Router using wrong Certificate after update to 3004.388.6

Firmware 3004.388.5 on RT-AX88U: Log in to admin portal. Go to Advanced Settings > Administration > System tab. Scroll to Local Access Config section. Can't remember if DDNS option is shown here, but this is turned off in this scenario regardless. In "Provide your own certificate" section...

Router using wrong Certificate after update to 3004.388.6

There are some of us (me) having this issue where I do not utilize in any way shape or form, nor do I need to use, the DDNS feature. Regardless, turning it on does not resolve the issue. I am using a public certificate from GlobalSign which previously worked before this firmware upgrade. Let's...
