    Google WiFi or Asus OnHub?

I'm looking for a router for my 60 square meters condominium(645.84square feet). There should be about 3-10devices (no more than 3 devices streaming videos at the same time) with 50-100Mbps network. So I think either Google WiFi(single unit) or Asus OnHub will handle this just fine. What I...

    RT-AC68U Dual wan question

Never had it working with auto fallback in either AsusWRT Merlin or stock firmware for years having two PPPOE fiber connections. Not sure if Asus has done anything to fix it since RMerlin doesn't touch Dual WAN code.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.6 is now available

Are you using any of the mentioned service in this link? If so, it affects NAT acceleration. Without NAT acceleration, 280Mbps is normal, or even better than mine. But with CTF, you should be able to get pass 300++Mbps easily, and if you want more speed(up to ~930Mbps) than that you should...

    ASUS RT-AC68U

Running the same firmware on my RT-AC68U rev C1, having Signature Version 2.066, I can confirm that Download stats are working properly on my device. From what firmware version did you upgrade from? If it was on 380.xx, have you initialized(factory reset) your router after firmware update...

    [Preview 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 early test builds

After picking name on their manage website, can't you start using that hostname/link? My previous ISP has something like this, since they know which customer pick which hostname through login in their website, they can link that hostname to my IP automatically without having to configure...

    [Preview 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 early test builds

Many of the feedbacks/problems may be due to some basic misconfiguration, RMerlin does not have so much time as a group of Asus engineers to keep track of every feedbacks/problems. In those cases, other people in this forum can help reduce problems sent to him by linking to known solutions...

Cloudflare Announces DNS That Won't Track You

Although that can tell you part of DNS service performance, it's not all, take a look at the following thread: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/choosing-dns-servers-for-asus-ac68u.32616/ You can use both DNS servers at the same time(router, and Cloudflare's) in a way. Your router cannot...

    Cloudflare Announcing DNS Resolver

Cloudflare just released their DNS Resolver today. It runs on their Cloudflare’s Global Anycast Network. I will be testing it soon, since its server is in my country. Links: https://blog.cloudflare.com/dns-resolver-1-1-1-1/ https://1.1.1.1/

    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.4 is now available

Was this from 384.4 or the new alpha version? I'm seeing the date in 384.4, although, not the correct date though, it hasn't been updated for a while now, same problem with stock firmware.

Possibly been hacked. Need assistant from senior users.

@Daspied Factory reset, flash to 384.4_2,(possibly another factory reset) restart, and then manually config everything again. 384.4_2 contains some security fixes over 384.3

    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.4 is now available

Did you do a factory restore and manually config everything from scratch(no setting restoration) when you moved from 380.XX to 384.XX?

I was wondering the same, so what I did was reset, flash, reset. Not sure which way is optimal.
