    Broken power button

Adding another case, bought in November 2013 (Amazon Warehouse Deals), and the power button failed on Mar 25, 2016. No warranty as I'm not based in the US. So far, I've tried the following: 1. Tape but it only works for like an hour before the power button stretches it out 2. Toothpick, not bad...

    Selective Routing with Asuswrt-Merlin

Got it working now! Thanks to this forum, I saw a tip on changing: ip route add default table 100 via $(nvram get wan_gateway) To: ip route add default table 100 via $(nvram get wan0_gateway) Not sure why it worked in earlier versions of the firmware though. All good now :)

    Selective Routing with Asuswrt-Merlin

I'm having some issues with the selective routing not working ever since I updated to 374.42. I was on 374.38 previously. Using AC66. The script seems to execute, but all traffic is going through VPN instead of selectively. I've shared my script as follows, can someone tell me what could be...

OpenVPN Selective routing and VOIP issues. Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks for this thread! I recently went back to the .270 firmware due to this issue (http://forums.smallnetbuilder.com/showthread.php?t=14361) and had to use wan-start instead. The problem was the VPN worked too well, all traffic ended up being routed through it. Followed janosek's advice and...

AC66U Reboot Issues with HW Acceleration

Hi all, I've seen a couple of reboot issues being mentioned with regards to AC66U, and so far here are my findings. I'm using StarHub (Singapore) Fibre 200Mbps. 1. With any firmware (I've tried just about all of them), the connection is stable with HW acceleration turned off. 2. HW...

vt1431: Thanks! However, if you see my initial post I've already tried using the arp line from the same tutorial as well, still can't get it to work :(

    Selective Routing with Asuswrt-Merlin

Hey mobileman88, Unfortunately I haven't tinked with the AC66 as an OpenVPN server and am not familiar with how you can go about achieving what you want. Regarding NAT/QoS rules, it seems to be functioning well as far as I can tell.

    Selective Routing with Asuswrt-Merlin

Small issue I noticed, whenever I make any changes via the web interface on port forwarding (and possibly other areas), all my traffic ends up routing through VPN and I need to reboot the router to have it back the way I want.

Remote Wake on LAN (Wake on WAN) (for Plex)?

Hello, I've managed to set up Wake on LAN, and also added some port forwarding rules so I can do a wake on WAN as well, but the Wake on WAN portion doesn't work. I've the following 2 rules set up for this: Port Range: 9 Local IP: 192.168.1.50 Local Port: 9 Protocol: TCP/UDP Port Range: 7...

    Selective Routing with Asuswrt-Merlin

I just wanted to thank everyone in this thread for the helpful discussion. Based on the existing scripts here, I managed to get my home network setup exactly the way I want it to, and thought it may be useful to share it with everyone. #!/bin/sh # Script to route traffic from home...
