    Gotcha. Thanks!

Set manual IPs via nvram (dhcp_staticlist)

Is it possible to work around the nvram command length limitation by somehow adding new entries to the existing ones? Or is there no easy way to append entries to the existing list?

Set manual IPs via nvram (dhcp_staticlist)

I'm trying to set the static IPs on nvram set dhcp_staticlist via a file. I can set them fine if I pass a long string via the command, like the example below: nvram set dhcp_staticlist="<MAC:1>192.168.3.111>Unit1><MAC:2>192.168.3.112>Unit2><MAC:3>192.168.3.113>Unit3>" I am unable to get this...

    NAT Loopback missing - RT-AC86U

I'd say it's on topic. It could be one of the solutions to the problem. Thanks anyway though.

    NAT Loopback missing - RT-AC86U

Dude, np at all! I appreciate the extra insight. Does the Merlin software support AiMesh? Is it easy to revert back to stock, if needed? At this point, I'm considering my options - either take the Merlin route, or return the router.

    NAT Loopback missing - RT-AC86U

Fair enough. Though I believe the comments in this posts are regarding the official firmware, since it's filed under HomeForums>Wireless Networking>ASUS Wireless>ASUSWRT - Official

    NAT Loopback missing - RT-AC86U

I'm using firmware 3.0.0.4.384.32797, and it is not working. Have tried this on two separate units now.

    NAT Loopback missing - RT-AC86U

So is NAT loopback not possible with this router? Does anyone have any suggestions they can think of? Should I reach out to Asus support?

    NAT Loopback missing - RT-AC86U

I do. I can access the server fine from outside, just not from within the LAN.

    NAT Loopback missing - RT-AC86U

Picked up a new Asus RT-AC86U, and tested this while it was a standalone router (not AiMesh). The problem is still persistent, so I doubt that the AiMesh is the culprit.

    NAT Loopback missing - RT-AC86U

Im connected directly to the main router, via lan cable. I did try connecting via a node, and also tried wirelessly as well. Same behaviour though .

    NAT Loopback missing - RT-AC86U

Thanks OzarkEdge, Merlin. I was starting to worry for a bit, as I've already as part of setting up AiMesh. Does anybody have any other ideas what I can try, so I can access my WAN ip from within the LAN?

    NAT Loopback missing - RT-AC86U

I don't see the option to enable/disable hardware acceleration on the RT-AC86U. The only option I see under LAN > Switch Control is "Enable Jumbo Frame". I tried having it enabled and disabled, but it doesn't change the fact that I cannot access my WAN ip from within the LAN.

    NAT Loopback missing - RT-AC86U

Interesting. In that case, it must not be working for some reason. Any thoughts on how this may be resolved? I'd really like to access my NextCloud server via the external ip when I'm on the local network.
