Access Intranet option for Wired clients

To anyone following this thread... I ran into a problem. External switch... If I set the VLAN for one device over there, I have to set it for all devices connected to that switch. The above will help for a device I have plugged directly into the router, but it doesn't work for my TV and my...

Access Intranet option for Wired clients

I am assuming that 8t is my CPU on this one? See my robocfg output above. Edit: If it looks confusing it is because I have LACP enabled for a NAS. Edit2: Guess the best way to see is to experiment. Nothing is permanent until a script is made.

Access Intranet option for Wired clients

Just wondering if the option for wireless clients to disable intranet access can also be applied to wired clients? The idea is for wired IoT devices that I do not control and therefor do not trust be limited from accessing my internal network. I don't see anything that may help facilitate...

386.4 - Internet traffic always shows the same upload and download

ASUS RT-AC88U Firmware Rev 386.4. I am noticing the Internet Traffic on the Network Map page always shows the same value for upload and download regardless of reality. I know this cannot be true as I only have a 3 Mb/sec upload (slow DSL, I know): If you move on over the the QoS page, it is...

    Is the main page down?

I just get a hello if I go here. Nothing else: https://www.asuswrt-merlin.net/ If you go to a sub page, it works fine: https://www.asuswrt-merlin.net/features

386.3_2 on RT-AC88U denies access to webGUI and SSH over ethernet, but wireless access works fine

Just a report: Wired access is working fine for me on 363.3_2 RT-AC88U.

Last feature I find missing in Asuswrt-Merlin

100% agree. Looking for a GUI add on really though so anyone can do this. Even just a no/yes item even. If I go messing with IPTables, now I am going to have to redo that every time I do an upgrade, and this is besides the point that IPTables is a pain in the butt from my past ex This too...

Last feature I find missing in Asuswrt-Merlin

This firmware is near perfect but it is missing one critical thing... The ability to block a 'wired' client from viewing the Intranet. Example, I want my Dish DVR to be able to have wired internet access, but I really don't want that device to also have Intranet access. It doesn't need to...

386.1 Problem - Missing Game Boost tab on RT-AC88U

ohhhh..... I may have missed that one.

386.1 Problem - Missing Game Boost tab on RT-AC88U

Yes, the tab worked fine on 384.19. Missing on 386.1. I think you are right, I will be going through this pain. I use the router for everything, from internet blocking of specific devices, to LACP, to NTP server, to forced DoT, multiple guest networks, all sort of things. Setting the right...
