RMerlin,
Any initial thoughts on your opinion of this guy? Thinking about replacing my GT-AC5300 in my main location with this. Tri-Band just seems to confuse things when trying to mesh with an AC-86U, and I only really have my laptop on the 2nd 5G band.
So I am running a GT-AC5300 and an AC86U as the AiMesh Node. Somehow they have now screwed up the network Map, so Devices on 5G-1 on the AC5300 are listed with devices on the 5G band on the AiMesh Node, which are 2 different frequencies. One is at 36 on the AC5300, the other is at 153 on the...
I've got the GT-AC5300 as the AiMesh router and an RT-AC86U as the node. I have the 2.4GHz band set to Channel 6 and 20MHz. For some reason, some of my analyzers are showing the node as being set to 40MHz wide channels instead of 20 on the router. There are no settings to change for the node...
So the last few days I am getting these constant errors:
Feb 10 19:32:06 kernel: protocol 0800 is buggy, dev eth4
Anyone know what this is? Is there really a problem, or is this just a bug being triggered by something?
I had my 86U AIMesh node lock up this morning. Was able to connect, but could get no Internet. Just recycled the power when I got home now. I'm already having second thought about going back to my 2 OnHub's from the GT-AC5300 / 86U setup.
