3 Ac68-u's, using AIMesh on latest beta, and I haven't had a better experience. Even my wife notice Wi-Fi everywhere, with ZERO issues. Been running it a week. TBH, i don't think I'm switch FW. Will stay right where i am.

Roaming assist, do it on both wifi frequencies.

I set mine up to disconnect anything lower than 65db, and my clients reconnect to the higher node instantly

I gotta say, for me rc7 and aimesh are working really well. Seems stable, and my devices happily switch nodes without issue.

Anyone use the optimization tab in Aimesh? Does it just reassign clients to strongest signal?

Well i did the main router 1st, then each node. I already had mesh setup. All seems to be ok, with no resetting. Time will tell. Thanks.

Im on official latest FW on my 3 rtac68u's, using aimesh. Can i just go straight to latest beta? Or does it need to be in increments? Also, is a factory reset needed? Thanks

I'm using an asus rt-ac68u run directly to the ont on verizon fios. No issues.

Yes, for whatever reason, i had to reconnect through setup all my google devices to reconnect to wifi. I think i have it all working now. Thanks for everyone's help.

OK, on stock FW. some of my devices wont connect to the wifi, isnt this supposed to be seamless?
