    Anyone ? `dropbear` does log details when running in foreground (-F) but not in background. I looked everywhere and could not find where the logs would be saved. Documentation says syslog but nothing in /var/log/messages

    @Voxel I want to see the logs from dropbear. I had read that by default it outputs to syslog but: The UI (Logs in adv_index.htm) has no SSH details no SSH info in /var/log/messages or in /tmp/mnt/sda1/entware/var/log/messages running manually dropbear -E does output to stdout -v flag is not...

    @Voxel or others - I understand I can open port 22 from WAN but that would expose the standard port + allow to authenticate with password. I have figured out that `dropbear` cannot disallow password authentication (or root access) based on the listening port. I can add multiple listening ports...

    Does anyone know how to enable SSH from WAN ? I know it's risky but need to temporarily open that up instead of usual OpenVPN + LAN SSH. Ideally I would like to use say port 7422 for WAN access and keep 22 for LAN connections + have both in the logs. What I tried: port forwarding thru the UI...

    @Voxel et al, what would you recommend for a watchdog utility i.e. pinging an IP and reboot (or restart wan interface) if fails.
