Thanks.
I didn't realize it was 5 year replacement warranty. I just know I was very happy with my NV+ and Pro Pioneer in terms of reliability.
I'm ok with not increasing storage because of the 8 years so I have NAS, I never expanded. I like to max out with enterprise HD and then leave...
Thanks for these postings
I got a scare with my Pro Pioneer recently with a bad drive (but not bad drive cause replugging everything resync'd and all ok right now)
I use iscsi on it for VMs, I use rsync to pull/push data. Those are really the most important thing.
But now I'm probably...
Hi everyone
I recently got a windows 8 machine and there is one thing I would really love to replicate from my window7 set up and xpmode.
With XPmode, I can access my host drive very easily with the XPMODE mappings to the hosts local drives. My XPMode machine could connect to different...
Hi there,
I'm trying to do this quickly but each time I try searching here and everywhere for info on the topic, I tend to get more and more confused an struggling with the terminologies. I hope to get some straight answers on the below should be configured.
I have a few switches as...
I'm annoyed that I can't get the adapters to sync at or near 500. Not even 200. Too bad I wasn't able to test these at the same house I was at that had the 200mpbs kit syncing 180/190.
The place I'm at now is only 3 years old. I thought for sure it would be really good. But I guess there's...
Wow that's cool cause of the laptop style power supply (IONITX-A)! I don't even plan to have a case for it, just leave it on a shelf in my closet. Maybe the whole thing can stay passive that way. Hook up a small cheap ssd and I'm set? :D
** oh wait, I need at least 2 NIC eh? **
perfect topic for me... Didn't even have to search yet :) I have renter in my house and part of the deal is to share my internet.
I'm not interested in using an old box as it will need to be controlled in my bedroom closet so will be looking for something as quiet as possible.
Will just...
Thanks for working through the thought process with me!
The problem was there was no error messages coming from the phone, so had no idea what the problem was. I put it down to PEAPV0 only and unchecked the other... re-entered the log in info (username instead of domain\username) and my wife...
yea the work IT guys are not going to support anything that's not official I guess... It's kind of limiting but it absolves them of responsibility.
I was combing through the wifi AP settings on the laptop and saw the section for certificates and it's thawte premium security ca or something...
I've been trying to get my wife's phone set up on her university network and all the research I've seen about wpa2-enterprise is that a certificate is needed. For some reason the certificate doesn't auto download for the phone and IT doesn't have a clue about a certificate.
I have a laptop...
thanks for the input,
I really figured it would be just plug the right hardware and boom away you go. My Readynas has 6x 2TB drives, and maybe only 2TB are filled. I just dragged and dropped a large file to see the speed.
Mind you, I'm quite pleased with the VM performance but if it can...
