The 3100 is not giving me the desired performance. I have a huge load on the router. 5 people playing games watching you tube updating phones and tablets and so on. Should I mention the downloads they do I have the best isp package they offer.
Can the 86U offer as good performance on hugeloads...
ASUS ROG GT-AC5300 vs Cisco 891F.
I can get both for around the same price. Which would have better latency and QOS for gaming?
Thank you for your help.
I will be hopefully be getting the ROG GT-AC5300, the Cisco can die prematurely.
It is a RT AC3100. No revision number.
I could not get the 382 or 384 to work.
So for right now I went back to the ASUS firmware revision 384_20308 it just works.
When the firmware comes out of beta I will try it gain. I love the functionality and response of the Merlin firmware.
Is there anyway to guarantee of formatted memory to wipe everything?
I still cant get 382 or 384 working stable.
380 works perfectly. Could it be the Router itself?
The firmware works If I default settings reset and just change the login and password. If I start changing things the router starts to turtle and does not work properly, after all the settings I want and rebooting or not the router is basically useless.
That is for 382 and 384.
Yes I logged in no idea why it could not find it. I uploaded it twice still could not find it. I am on an older firmware. 380.69 or so. 382 will not work on this network the xboxes become useless no connection on any of them and wifi is flaky.
I saw that thread but that firmware will not work on my network. all the xboxes we have will not connect or very intermittently and wifi is flaky.
382.2
cmd says 22 kb 100% in putty no such file or directory.
I will try it all again I guess.
Forget it. Im not even on the right firmware.
Do I have to re load the firmware I am on. Now
