A couple of questions: 1. What happens when the DNS-server specified in DNScrypt goes down? Is there a "kill switch" built in or will it go back to my ISPs DNS server? 2. How would one "uninstall" DNScrypt after following this guide? Asking just in case I decide it's not worth it...

DNS requests just doesn't work after running this installer on a AC66U with lastest Merlin firmware. Getting the standard DNS no probe in Chrome. I used ovpnse and ipredator DNS servers. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwwgzacAAAmOLWY4Y2pnTDRTTUE/view?usp=sharing

Just flash the firmware like normal. Someone else can answer if factory reset (after flash) is required, but I'd do it.

Trying my web server (wamp) and FTP mainly and both fail. Sent you the email now.

Sorry but there must be some more problems with NAT loopback. Tried all your previous advice, including this one and restoring factory defaults, nothing fixed it. Flashed 16E and it instantly worked again. I even loaded the saved config file from 17E to 16E and it still works.

QoS has never been enabled. Tried the command anyway and it didn't help.

Didn't help. Never used this IP before so couldn't have been cached anyway. Never had this problem before in any previous firmware versions (including 17 beta). Funny thing is that if I go through a VPN both DNS and IP works.

I figured out the issue. I can access my external IP and DNS when I'm outside of my local network, but not from within (tested at work when I said the problem was "fixed", but same problem when I came home). From what I understand this has something to do with NAT Loopback? Wasn't like this in...
