I do have UPnP enabled for my son's PS5 and XBox. I also run multiple SIP / VoIP servers and devices on the LAN connecting to remote sites, double NAT may upset that.

Using the ISP router I'm getting 940/110. When I use my opnsense server I get 600/110 approx. When I run a speedtest top shows the following. So it looks like PPPOE is using one core. Would an N100 be able to cope with this ? Thanks

Must admit I hadn't thought of this. The ISP router has a DMZ, would I connect my opnsense box to that, and then set all the clients default gateway as the opnsense box ? Any issues with double NAT etc ? Any idea how the WAN would need to be configured in opnsense ? Thanks

My concern is Opnsense / BSD uses a single core for PPPOE, I'm sure if this CPU will have enough power to cope.

Currently I have an IPsec VPN to the office and a wireguard VPN to a 3rd party provider. Only my PC can access the IPsec VPN, and all wireless devices use the wireguard as there default gateway. After speaking to TP Link the EX820V isn't going to give me the configuration of VPN's I want...
