I am out of ideas and just thought i would try posting here for any ideas. I have an RT-N66U running Merlin (latest) ... using any other router (I have several cheaper ones) the dsl connects fine but on this router I get this in the log. this would lead me to believe it is an...
Any ideas on the dual router setup? Do you think the Asus DDNS service will work properly behind another router. Also does double port forwarding work?
Forward External IP from router 1 to router 2
Then forward from router 1 to internal device?
if your looking at setting 200 reservations run a DHCP server on a windows computer. or other. If you use windows server DHCP is simple and reservations are easy. If not using windows server just google DHCP server and there are plenty out there.

When your having the problem plug directly into the modem and test again. If it is still slow its likely your ISP or at least a connection on the far side of the modem usually handled by the ISP
If however it is fast when connected...

resolv-file=/tmp/resolv.conf
