    XT8 FW 3.0.0.4.386.26044 breaks Sonos

    Reported the same problem with my sonos speakers in the ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta thread two months ago. My fix to the problem was to buy an Sonos boost and connected it via cable to one off the XT8 and everything works again.

    Beta ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta with full functions AiMesh 2.0

    Upgraded my ASUS Zenwifi XT8 system to 9.0.0.4.386.41157 and all my Sonos speakers started living their own lives. The speakers could not be found or controlled from the Sonos app anymore. Downgraded to 3.0.0.4.386.25790 and everything is working again.
