Can’t use 160Mhz in Mixed AC & AX mesh environment

Anyone have idea that my mixed Asus mesh environment cannot use 160Mhz in 5ghz? It seems only 80mhz in 5Ghz channel under WiFi 6. I have RT-AX86x TUF-AX3000 & RT-AC-5300.

AX86U on 386.7_2: Wireless falling back to 80MHz even if I set 160MHz?

I just noticed that on the newest 386.7_2 firmware, if I set 160MHz on the 5GHz band, it will initially use 160MHz but later reduce to 80MHz (I'm seeing this using WiFi Explorer on macOS). I know 160MHz is 99% unnecessary, I just want to know if this is the intended behavior with this new...

    160mhz on AC3100 or AC86U?

I'm looking into upgrading from my AC68U, and have an Intel 9260 with 160mhz support. I'd be satisfied with gigabit speed, since that's what my ISP caps it at, anyway. Instead of buying an expensive Wifi 6 model, I'm looking to save some money on a lower priced unit, or maybe even a used one...

have Intel 9560 card w/ true 160MHz; am in very congested environment--don't need speed, just a clear channel. Router that can do this? Sorry, NOOB

I have a Dell Vostro with an Intel 9560 160 MHz card. I'm trying to understand what it is capable of and what it is not. My understanding is that the one advantage that it might have is that it could utilize a true 160MHz channel if a router supported it (and there's only three that do...

    802.11ac, 80+80 and/or 160MHz channels - hostapd interop fix

Interesting... with devices that support the newer 160MHz modes (80+80 or 160), some older clients may have problems with those information elements to determine how to configure their mode... @thiggins - this might be a good test case for the Router/AP's... @RMerlin, @Voxel - might want to...

    MU-MIMO, 160MHz and >1Gbps Wi-Fi testing

Seems like MU-MIMO and 160Mhz both are potentially exceeding Gigabit Ethernet, but unfortunately, I have not seen much data on this. Even on SNB, which does a pretty great job for testing Routers (good methodology, etc), has not really been able to step over this challenge (as far as I can...

    Zyxel Armor Z2 AC2600 MU-MIMO Dual-Band Gigabit Router

While Zyxel has yet to issue a press release, the Armor Z2 (model# NBG6817) appeared a few days ago on its site for Home Routers. Zyxel on the product’s page touts its premium casing design with a “metal look,” and optimized “4 inlet / 4 outlet air flow” design to let cool air circulate through...
