It seems that ASUS plans to add automatic frequency coordination (AFC) to the BE98 Pro to achieve standard power via a future firmware update. There are also two new hardware versions, V2.5 and V2.7, with V2.7 adding a Barometric pressure sensor to the router, not sure what the purpose of this...
