inter-vlan

My current situation requires a VLAN for my NVR, which should still be accessible from the main LAN. The current Asuswrt Official firmware on my GT-AXE16000 does not seem to contain this function, will upgrading to Merlin allow me to setup these inter-vlan routing? thank you so much.
