1 modem with 1 public IP, 1 Asus AC5300 router…

Hi,

my question is, is there anyway i can assign the public (static) IP which is assigned to the modem, to be used on the router instead?

im thinking out loud, maybe MAC spoofing?

guidance needed, highly appreciated, thanks.

modem use VDSL PPPOE

No. Not unless your modem can be put into some sort of bridged or passthrough mode.

Anywhere I can find that in the modem ? its model is ZTE H188A...I can't find anywhere it says Bridge mode...
