Hello.
I have 3 RT-N66U routers.
All they are running on different Merlin FW versions.
In random time 2.4 module break up my connection and after that not visible for 2.4Ghz wi-fi modules.
But if module supports dual band, 5Ghz still visible for connect.
Only reboot helpful for solve this bug.

No, i can't jump to 5Ghz range only.
I have a lot of old hardware, like Smart TV, PSP and anothers.
Hardware reset dosen't help to me at all routers.
So issue somewhere in FW.
Maybe i should raise up log lvl and monitor log for system errors.
Routers wasn't overheated. At one of routers i installed cooler with independent power(USB from paspberry)

Routers was bought in different years.
In one of it(with cooling) inserted micro sd card for ipkg repo

Any ideas, suggestions how to solve?

Hmm, really needs more information befoe anyone can start to offer ideas.

Are the 3 routers in different buidings, or are they in the smae building and close together so they can "see" eachother ?

If the are close together, are they connected together ? Are they all configured as routers, or are 2 of them in Access Point mode ?

A diagram would be very helpful.

They don't connected together.
Different apartments in different city districts.
So i mean same situation on not linked routers which was boughted in different time.
Oldest(something about 5 years)
Newwest 2 years.
Issue was sawed first time about one and half year ago, winter-spring 2016.
JFF i can revert oldest firmware at one of router and watch on it for some time.
How about 2 or 3 year old firmware.

Just disconnected with only one entry in log:

Dec 15 18:49:42 crond[314]: time disparity of 1249489 minutes detected
Dec 15 19:00:02 disk_monitor: Got SIGALRM...
Dec 15 19:49:20 miniupnpd[675]: upnp_event_recv: recv(): Connection reset by peer

Check your WiFi client adapter and drivers for it.

2.4GHz instability isn't a major issue, and since you see this on three different Router/AP's, it's likely not AsusWRT, but the adapter on the client.

It happens for 2,4 and 5 g bands, depends on which band i connected.
But it's it 2,4 to it dosen't visible for all clients in range.
Now i turned off upnp and looks like it stable.
And rasied up log level.
I think tomorrow i will enable upnp.
Then i will see.

Security wise better leave upnp turned off.
