RT-AC68U with Merlin 386.2_4.
The issue starts appearing two or more builds earlier and still exists. I have two SSID configured on router: Name-2.4 and Name-5.0 for 2.4 and 5.0 GHz correspondingly.
It is normal 2.0 becomes better with more walls in my house so my devices switch from 5.0 to 2.4 when 5.0 becomes too weak.
With some time (I think when devices go to sleep due to inactivity) Name-2.4 shows excellent signal but no Internet connection. All settings are OK - but no Internet. The only way to get Internet back is to disconnect and reconnect WiFi again on device.
The issue never happens with 5.0 WiFi - the Internet connection remains active all the time.
I really think some new feature was presented in recent updates of router firmware and it results in my problem.
Any suggestions what to do?
