2.4GHz, mode question (54,347,800Mbps)

Is there any reason NOT to use 800 Mbps mode on a netgear R7800 router? The options are 54, 347, or 800 Mbps.

Use the 800Mbps mode on 2.4GHz band.

That'll force wide channels in 2.4GHz, might consider 347...

Yes 800 in 40MHz if you want speed but shorter range and 246.7 in 20MHz for longer range lower speed as you said
